Ray hatfield resides in Cody, Wyoming, where he operates a full-time studio with 20 employees, specializing in African and large Life-size animals. Along with some of his staff, Ray has won "Best in World" in the Collective Artist Division with a beautiful Leopard/Bush Pig Mount. More recently, Ray won the 2009 1st Place Best of Category Game head in the Collective Artists Division with a giraffe. he has also won numerous "Taxidermists Choice" Awards and other awards at World, National, and State level Competitions.
Sometimes hunted in very warm temperatures, the pronghorn antelope is know to spoil rapidly. Though this DVD features a pronghorn, the procedures shown can be easily applied to just about any horned or antlered species. There are a few hunting segments before getting into the detailed demonstration on how to properly care for your big game in the field, including complete caping and skinning for the taxidermy process.
