WASCO True-Tan Fish Tan

An easy one-step process successfully transforms fish skin to a permanent, stable substance. To use, mix both dry chemical and the liquid component with water. Add the prepared fish skin to the solution and allow it to soak overnight. Rinse with clean water and the skin is ready to be mounted. Besides producing better, more permanent mounts, using True-Tan Fish Tan will allow the fish to dry to a much lighter color, enabling the taxidermist to paint the fish easier and more realistically. For greasy fish such as trout, salmon and char, you will also need Polytranspar™ Degreaser. Eight gallons of True-Tan Fish Tan solution may be used for approximately 24 average sized fish before being discarded. Contains dry chemical and liquid additive.
