Zebra Paint Schedule

Instruction Steps:

  1. Putty all holes, cracks, nostrils, ears, etc. with a paintable material such as Magic Sculpt.

  2. Paint light colors first, then finish with dark. Use Jonas White or Off White. Depending on your zebra, paint in any scars of slipped area.

  3. Use Jonas Dark Chocolate Brown or Jonas Black. Depending on your zebra, paint nostrils, inner ears, eyelids, and any slipped or scarred areas.

  4. Once dry, use a stiff bristle brush or cloth and rub out excess paint from hair.

  5. Use Jonas Clear Gloss and apply to the eyelids with a fine brush. Spray into nostril areas. Use a matte finish like Tuff Film for the inner ears to seal.

  6. Once dry, clean the eyes off with a damp brush, then buff the eyes with a Q-tip.

  7. Use a little Hair Sheen over the entire mount for a clean looking shine, and a final touch.
