Van Dyke's Gamefish Tip

The key to using these traditional gamefish forms is to clean all of the meat from the skin, removing as much meat and bone from the head as possible. Before inserting the form into the head and the base of tail area, add a small amount of clay to create a smooth union between the form and head.

Two measurements are required for our gamefish forms. A = the length of the fish, from the rear of the eye to the base of the tail, measured with the fish lying on its side. B = the circumference, or girth, of the fish at the largest portion of the belly.

Important: When measuring your specimen, use an accurate tape and calipers to determine dimensions.
