Lonestar Petite Offset Semi Upright Whitetail by Don Holt

All the references for the Lonestar Collection were taken from Whitetail deer in the Texas Hill Country. The Whitetail in that portion of the United States tend to exhibit a more petite face, smaller skeletal structure and a more slender neck and shoulder areas--characteristics very similar to eastern Whitetail. As with all Original Creations forms, by Don Holt, these offset semi upright Whitetail forms have the positive set brisket and positive eye set and ear butts molded into the form.

Although sculpted from references of whitetail in the Texas Hill Country, taxidermists around the country are finding that this series works equally well for early season bow kill, deer from the upper New England states and from along the southeastern coast of the country. The series has a smaller neck, slightly narrower face and an overall more petite look that is typical of younger deer. The gameheads mount up easily with no need to alter, carve or reshape the form. Complete your Whitetail mount with Van Dyke's premium quality Whitetail glass eyes.
