How to Use Synchron-Eyes Capsules

The eye will automatically be set at the proper depth and angle when used with Legacy Series mannikins. Created from soft rubber, the Synchron Eyes™ capsule features pre-sculpted lachrymal crease and eyelid and is designed to work perfectly with Van Dyke's Pre-Rotated 28-32 mm eyes.

The flexible eye capsule securely holds any 32mm base eye. Simply slide eye into capsule. Place the eye capsule with a small amount of clay or epoxy to hold in place.

The rubber socket holds the thin eye skin securely and prevents the eyelid from separating from the glass. Synchron-Eyes™ capsules will work on all forms with slight modification. When used with Van Dyke's Pre Rotated II 28-32 mm eyes, the eyes themselves can be rotated to determine which way the deer is looking.
 
Blend the line in with a very small roll of clay   The perfect eye set every time!

For a deer looking right, the eye is inserted in the capsule so that the white portion shows in the front corner of the right eye and in the back corner of the left eye. To give the appearance of an intent forward look, insert both eyes with white showing in the back corner of each eye. If you prefer the traditional look with no white showing in either eye, choose Van Dyke's ACV 28-32 mm eyes.
