Installing the Coyote Cast Mouth Instructions:

Using 100-grit sandpaper or equivalent, start by scuffing up the mouth set where it joins together and where it attaches to the form. (Fig.1 & Fig. 1A) Use care when sanding close to the back corner of the mouth. Sand the form where the mouth set attaches as well. The bottom of the tongue and inside lower jaw where the tongue rests should also be scuffed.

Apply a good grade super glue to the bottom of the tongue, (Fig. 2) and attach to the bottom jaw. An accelerator can also be used. Run a small amount of the glue onto the flat "shelf" behind the lip line of the lower jaw, (Fig. 2A) and attach the two halves of the mouth set. (Fig. 2B) Be neat with the glue and avoid getting it in the mouth or on the lip line.

After the glue has set, the form can be blended to the mouth set. Rasp any high spots in the foam down to the contours of the mouth set. (Fig. 4) The remainder of the form can be blended with clay. (Fig.4A)

You are now ready for the mounting process. Simply cut the lips off of the cape and super glue the skin in place to the cast lips on the mouth set.
