An extremely fast solvent, acetone is recognized by its smell as fingernail polish remover. Besides its outstanding cleaning properties (especially useful in airbrush cleaning), acetone may also be used to thin lacquer based paints ( such as Polytranspar™ FP series or LifeTone.) highly flammable.
