Antelope Paint Schedule

Instruction Steps:

  1. Putty all holes, cracks, nostrils, ears, etc. with a paintable material such as Magic Sculpt.

  2. Always paint light colors first; then dark. Begin with Off White. Spray lightly around mouth and chin area and brisket areas as necessary to blend hair slip or blemishes.

  3. Next, use Cream to lightly speckle around base of horns and around muzzle, as needed.

  4. Next, use Dark gold to lightly speckle over Cream. Paint the same areas you did with Cream.

  5. Using Dark Chocolate Brown, spray inside ears thoroughly. Spray around base of horns as needed. Lightly speckle around eyes if needed for blending.

  6. Using the same Dark Chocolate Brown, spray inside of nostrils, septum area and leather portion of the nose. Spray eyelids (paint will clean off eyes).

  7. Using Black, spray eyelids, being sure to shape symmetrically. Paint inside nose and outer nose. Try to avoid overspray into white areas. Touch up base of horns as needed.

  8. After all the paint is dry (at least one hour), gently rub paint out of hair, ears, etc. with a soft dry cloth. A hairdryer will help loosen paint.

  9. Using a slightly damp paintbrush, wipe paint off eyes, then buff with a Q-tip, until clean.

  10. Using a fine tip brush, apply Jonas Clear Gloss carefully to eyelids. Using Clear Gloss again, carefully spray nose; be sure to cover eyes with a cloth before spraying. Let dry. Hair Sheen, may be used to give the mount a finishing touch.
