Bert Van Dyke founded Van Dyke's Taxidermy Supply in 1949, in the basement of his home after returning home from World War 2. His basic premise was actually pretty simple - offer quality taxidermy supplies to both amateur and professional taxidermists. Mr. Van Dyke built his business for many years, growing a major taxidermy industry presence by creating revolutionary products in chemistry, urethane foam, wood, and, especially, glass eyes.
Van Dyke's offers more than 15,000 items across a wide array of taxidermy products, tools and supplies and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of glass eyes. We work with many in-house, free lance and contract sculptors to produce the foam manikins we sell. Van Dyke's also produces many of the chemicals used throughout the taxidermy process and maintains on-site wood-working and welding shops.

Custom Options: Our state-of-the-art 10,000 square foot woodshop builds quality custom cabinet bases, panels, and other wood. No job is too small for our expert team of artisans! Our turnaround time is around two weeks; call for details. Need custom eyes? We can order any size of the eyes we carry and paint them to your specifications.
Habitat: Our selection of habitat bases and materials provides unlimited options for your habitat and base work; our vast selection supports your creativity. Many of our bases can be used creatively for several species. For example, a monkey limb can be used for opossums, or birds. Though a few products may be limited due to supply chain challenges, our knowledgeable team will assist you in finding a suitable substitute when needed. We will work with you to find the perfect option for your project.
Free Technical Support: If you have questions about any of our products, or if you need help in selecting a form, base, or tanning product, our experienced team of veteran taxidermists is ready to answer all your questions.
