Bascal-S (Apidic Acid) is a multi-purpose pickling auxiliary and deliming additive. Add it to Ammonium Sulfate in the de-liming process to eliminate lime blast. It is suitable for use as a pickle acid in short floats, prior to chrome tanning. Bascal-S counteracts hair slippage in the pickle to achieve light and soft skin. It makes fleshing skins easier!
