Measuring for Rugshells

Rugshells are available for species from Raccoons and Badgers to Lions, Leopards and Bears.

For the right fit, the length and the nose-to-eye distance have to be accurately measured.

You should use calipers for the nose-to-eye measurement (A). Measure from the front corner ot the eye to the front of the nose.

The length of the head (L) will aid you in determining size. Measure from the back of the skull to the front of the nose, using a tape measure.
