Airbrush Tip

Always keep your airbrush clean. This will greatly increase the life of your airbrush as well as save time. It is much easier to clean your airbrush when you finish a project than after it has laid around with paint setting up inside. It only takes a few minutes to run some solvent (lacquer thinner for lacquer paints or warm soapy water or clear Windex works for most water based acrylics.)

Remove the needle and wipe it clean and replace. Flush a little more solvent through and you are done. Bottles and paint cups should also be cleaned immediately. If you have to leave paint in your bottles be sure to put Redi-Caps on the outlet stems to prevent the paint from drying up and evaporating.
