Using Fast Set Maché

Fast Set Maché is great for setting antlers to get the lifelike angles needed to make the mount walk off the wall. Similar to Regular Set Maché, only with a faster setting time.

Mixing Instructions:

Mix enough water with the Maché to obtain the consistency of bread dough, this is approximately 5 ounces of water to every pound of Maché.

Set time for Fast Set Maché is approximately 45 minutes and full cure is obtained in 24 hours. Optimum set conditions are 70 degrees and 50 percent humidity. Set time can vary greatly depending on temperature, humidity, water pH and minerals found in your water.

Increase set time: To speed up set time use hot water or a small percentage of salt.

Decrease set time: To slow down the set time use cold water or add a small percentage of flour.
