Curatan® is a tanning paste which Van Dyke's has recommended for years. This tan contains a strong tanning agent,an anti-microbial agent and a anti-oxident inhibitor. Complete directions included. Pre-pickling is required prior to the use of Curatan®. Curatan® will leave the hide soft for an extended period of time, leaving lots of stretch and the fibers will take on the tanning action. We don't recommend this tan for very heavy hides, unless they are fleshed thoroughly.
