Of all the vegetable tans, this one is probably the most widely used and most successful. This Bark Tan and Dye (Quebracho extract) is an old method vegetable tanning material that produces various rich shades of brown. It is a two-step process involving the use of pickling crystals. As a dye, it is excellent at producing varying shades of rich browns. There is no natural leather dye like Quebracho. Instructions are included.
