Sodium Bicarbonate

Sodium Bicarbonate is an excellent neutralizing agent.

Directions:

Mix one ounce of Sodium Bicarbonate per gallon of water. Soak the hide for 25 to 30 minutes. Always check pH of skin. Skin should have a pH of 3.5-5.0, depending on the tanning agent used. Sodium Bicarbonate can also be added directly to the tanning vt. It is also an excellent deordorizer.
