Tannium (Oxchrome SR-35) is chemically known as Chromium Sulfate. Correctly Chrome tanned skins exhibit no deterioration when subjected to water! Requires pre-pickling. Oxochrome SR-35 is considered a heavy metal, therefore disposal in accordance to state & local regulations should apply. One pound of tannium tans 10 to 14 lbs. of dry weight skin. Oil tanned skins with Protal tanning oil. Requires pickling with Oxalic Acid. Instructions furnished! Tanning oil needed.
