Found on the flood plains of Botswana, Zambia and SE Zaire, the long pointed hooves have adapted this Lechwe antelope to the seasonably inundated grasslands. Males have a robust thick neck with lyre-shaped horns. The Lechwe mannikin was sculpted by world famous Sculptor Don Holt.
