Finishing Natural Rocks

When finishing Van Dyke's Natural Rocks, water base paint works really well. Simply choose a color, paint the rock, mist it with water and then wipe it off with a terry cloth towel. This paint on, wipe off technique can be repeated several times with different colors to achieve some amazing effects. When you get just the right look, for a great final touch, you can use a dry brush technique with titanium white oil paint to highlight the rock.
