Deer Form Tip

When ordering a deer form, make sure your measurements are correct. Measuring a deer on the carcass over the hair will not give you accurate neck measurements even if you deduct for the hair.

The most accurate measurements will always be those taken form the skinned carcass. If this is not possible, than measure the skin itself. If you are in doubt or if your skin measurements fall in between two forms sizes, it is always better to go with the smaller form.

Trying to mount a deer on a form that is too big is not a good idea. If you have to fight and struggle to stretch the skin on an over-sized form there is a good chance the brisket and shoulders will be out of the proper position.
