An effective way to help breakdown the structure of a skin, for better softness, stretch and rehydration. Use prior to acid pickling in your process, for 2 to 4 hours depending on thickness of skin, then run in acid pickle to kill the bating process. This process will also allow you a more evenly tanned skin and will reduce hard spots. Use approximately 2 to 3 ounces per 5 gallons of water.
